Lane is a blue merle Australian shepherd that came to us through a co-ownership with Carolina Calais Aussies.  At the time we purchased her, we were told to just give her a bit of time to grow up and see how she did.  We did just that.  She was a solid and conformationally correct girl.  She just lacked a bit of show ring attitude.  She finished her conformation championship under breeder judges that saw her correct structure and traits that epitomized the Aussie breed.  Where Lane really shined was as a mom.  She went on to produce several outstanding litters.  These puppies went on to win big in the performance and conformation world which earned Lane her Hall of Fame Dam title.  She was a loving and kind mom who passed her great Aussie traits on to her kids.
